Shemara Dadhisheth is the Director of People and Operations at Taxpayer Law. In this capacity, she oversees all human resources and operational functions of the firm, ensuring that daily practices align with Taxpayer Law’s strategic goals. She provides leadership in areas such as talent acquisition, employee development, and firm administration, striving to optimize efficiency while cultivating a high-performing workplace culture.

Prior to joining Taxpayer Law, Shemara managed legal talent programs and recruitment initiatives at two prominent national law firms. Through these roles, she honed her skills in human resources initiatives and law firm operations, developing a track record of implementing effective policies that enhance organizational performance. Her expertise in legal talent strategy, from recruiting promising lawyers to fostering their professional growth, reflects her dedication to building a strong and positive firm culture.

Shemara holds a Bachelor of Human Resources Management from York University, has completed Mental Health First Aid certification, and has served on Anti-Racism and Diversity Committees, reflecting her broader commitment to inclusive and people-centered leadership.
