Jas Gill (he/him/his) is a tax lawyer at Taxpayer Law. He previously served as an associate at an elite Bay Street firm.
Jas specializes in advising on and litigating income and GST/HST dispute matters against the Canada Revenue Agency. Jas is known for his meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to navigate the nuances of tax law with confidence and clarity. Whether challenging reassessments, negotiating with the Canada Revenue Agency, or appearing before the Tax Court of Canada, he is committed to achieving practical and favorable outcomes for his clients.
Jas earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, where he served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Indigenous Law Journal for two years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from McMaster University, where he was awarded the Burton R. James Memorial Prize for graduating at the top of his class.
